THE RED CHORD Performs With SIGH Keyboardist At MARYLAND DEATHFEST; Video Available

Metal Injection has posted video footage (see below) of the Boston, Massachusetts death metal/grindcore band THE RED CHORD performing the instrumental track "It Came From Over There" for the first time ever at this year's Maryland Deathfest, which was held on May 22-24, 2009 at the Sonar in Baltimore, Maryland. The group was joined by SIGH keyboardist Mirai Kawashima, who also makes a guest appearance on the recorded/album version of the track.

THE RED CHORD recently entered Jonny Fay Backyard Studios, which is owned by the band's former guitarist Jonny Fay, to begin recording its new album for a fall release.

"Prey for Eyes", the latest release by THE RED CHORD, was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, FULL BLOWN CHAOS) and features the artwork of Paul Romano (TRIVIUM, MASTODON, MAROON).
